SPECIAL EVENT DESIGN 

Theme parties and creative special events are how MDI got its start. We inventory over 25,000 sq.ft. of scenic and theatrical decorations and continually add to our extensive inventory of props and scenery. Our signatures are totally encompassing environments that blend our thematic décor and exciting entertainers with your chef’s unique menus for an evening no one will soon forget. In addition to our extensive variety of theme oriented décor packages, we design and produce extraordinary social extravaganzas and weddings.

SPECIAL EFFECTS AND LIGHTING

Included in our inventory are unique special effects that can turn the usual into the unusual! We can make it snow on cue. We have an army of 20’ tall inflatable characters. We have launched Coast Guard vessels to the explosion of high capacity confetti cannons. Semi-intelligent disco-style lighting shows and numerous special effect lighting elements.

CONVENTION COMMUNICATION/ SIGNAGE DESIGN

MDI offers custom group and convention signage design and production services. From directional event signs to extravagant stage graphics, our team of graphic artists is ready to tackle the challenge. We offer hand painted, vinyl and large format printing.

PLANT PACKAGES

Whether it's for the week or just one general session, we can service you plant softening effect with our wide variety of plants and trees. Plants are offered in a wide variety of vessels to suit your specific needs.

STAGE SET DESIGN

MDI has designed and produced hundreds of stage sets. We inventory over 20 stock designs and each one can be customized to meet our clients’ specific needs. We will work with your A/V technicians to capitalize on the universal need for visually stimulating event staging.

TEAMBUILDING STYLE PROGRAMS

MDI produces custom-designed interactive teambuilding events with a variety of formats and levels of challenge based on the organization’s goals. Our program designers can present very sophisticated and structured activities that relate to specific “team objectives” or plan a hilarious day of fun activities designed to encourage networking and camaraderie.

ENTERTAINMENT

MDI arranges and coordinate all requests for entertainment. We work with the best local and national acts to provide a wide array of musical styles and performances to fit every budget. Additionally, MDI has contacts with many comedians, character actors, characature artists, prognosticators, sports celebrities and guest speakers.
